One of the Southeastern Architectural Archive's missions is to provide insight into its holdings through exhibits. Every year, SEAA opens a new exhibit that highlights selections from its rich collections. These exhibits are open to the public Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday (closed Wednesdays), 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.; 2:00 p.m. - 5:00 p.m., excluding Tulane University holidays. Several current and past exhibits are available online, see link at left.
While SEAA does one-on-one instruction on using its holdings every time a researcher schedules an appointment, we also provide instructional visits to small groups and classes. We will be happy to bring out examples of the types of materials in our collections, or we can tailor a session to suit your classes' particular subject. We can also arrange tours of SEAA's stacks to let your students see the inner workings of an archive. Groups are limited to 15 persons. If you are interested in scheduling a group visit, please email Kevin Williams, Archivist at email@example.com.
SEAA also provides information about its collections through its Facebook page. News about new collections, updated collection finding aids, and images of items from SEAA holdings are posted regularly.
We also have a new Blog, which we will post news to as time permits.
