Outreach Activities

One of the Southeastern Architectural Archive's missions is to provide educational and outreach programming through public exhibitions, lectures and other community engagements.  Every November, the SEAA opens a new exhibition that highlights selections from its rich collections.  These exhibitions are free and open to the public Mondays-Fridays from 9-12 and 1-5 pm, excluding Tulane University holidays.  A growing number of past exhibitions are documented online.  The SEAA does not loan its materials for research or exhibitions.

In addition to public exhibitions, the SEAA provides lectures and tours to local and national organizations whose membership is interested in issues related to the built environment.  Civic groups and social clubs, fraternal and professional organizations, other interested parties regularly schedule lectures in the SEAA and elswewhere.  Because SEAA space is limited, tour groups are limited to 12 persons.  If you are interested in scheduling a lecture for a larger group, the SEAA can coordinate a visit to your locale.
