Using the SEAA

The SEAA maintains a large body of architectural materials in many different formats:  drawings, photographs, diapositives, blueprints, etc.  We kindly request that you make an appointment in advance of your visit if you are consulting archival materials.  We request your compliance with our use policies in order to ensure the preservation of our holdings.

The following rules apply to those requesting materials from SEAA storage:

• Please present ID to reading room attendant and sign-In
• Complete  “Reference Request Form” (blue/top of card catalog) and present to reading room attendant 
• Read through our Handling Guidelines (on each reading room table)
• Last call to retrieve items before the lunch hour is 11:30 am.
• Last call to retrieve items before closing is 4:30 pm.
• Items will be collected for return to vault at 4:45 pm.

The SEAA prohibits the use of food, drink, and cell phones.
